Cheryl Ward was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario. Currently, Cheryl is looking at becoming the President-Elect for 2006-2007, and President of the Rotary Club of Parry Sound in 2007-2008. Cheryl has been the Director of Community Services for our club in the past. Cheryl's classification is banking management. She is currently the Manager of the TD Bank on James Street in Parry Sound as well as the Mactier Branch. Cheryl gave her classification talk in November of 2001. Cheryl started with the TD Bank in 1977 as a teller. She moved to Parry Sound in 2000 to take over the branch here. Cheryl's grandfather was born in the Parry Sound area, and Cheryl always cottaged at Blackstone Lake. She couldn't wait to live here full-time and loves the area. In the community, Cheryl is active with the Foley Agricultural Society, and she enjoys traveling, cottaging, boating, fishing, and drinking wine. In fact, Cheryl considers herself a wine aficionado or oenophile. Cheryl's husband is Randy, and her parents, John and Rose Ward live in Guelph. Cheryl has one sister. Cheryl also considers her cat (S.C) and her bird (Syd) as members of her family. Cheryl and Randy have traveled to the Caribbean where they can enjoy the sunshine.
