Local Profile – Shahina Butt

Shahina – our Director of Vocational Services in 2003-2004 -- was born and raised in Pakistan. Her education has been partly in Pakistan and partly in Canada. Shahina is married to Saleem, who is a lawyer and an educator. They have three children – two daughters and a son. One daughter is married, and Shahina and Saleem are grandparents of two boys. They are proud of all three children – all accomplished professionals. Shahina attended University of Western Ontario and Lakehead University. She enjoys living in Parry Sound, and lived for a time in northwestern Ontario before moving to Parry Sound. She enjoys reading and traveling. Shahina in 2003-04 was the Director of Vocational Services with the Rotary Club of Parry Sound. She joined Rotary about two years ago. Her classification is Education – Shahina is the Principal of Parry Sound High School. Shahina is also active in the School Council and enjoys spending time with her family. Her goals are to achieve her personal best this year with Rotary. We're pleased to have Shahina as a member of the Rotary Club of Parry Sound! Welcome!
